Centrifugal pumps by Pedrollo
Centrifugal pumps by Pedrollo consist of the standard water pump as in a surface mounted pumps, submersible pumps and deep well borehole pumps. A centrifugal pump operates on the principle of a rotating impeller which uses radial and lateral forces to expel the fluid into the pump casing. The “vacuum” caused by the out rush of liquid enables the pump to continually replenish the water being pumped into the eye of the impeller.
This basic principle is the foundation of all centrifugal pump technology.

The CP series of centrifugal pumps by Pedrollo consists of 7 basic models. These Pedrollo CP series centrifugal pumps are designed to be installed into small water systems where the pipe sizes are not larger than 50mm (two inches). The threaded port on suction and discharge ports makes this series of pumps suitable for the DIY domestic and the industrial markets. Flowrates up to 100 litre per minute and pressures up to 8 bar or 80 meters.
The Pedrollo F series of centrifugal pumps is an EN 733standard pump design . These close coupled centrifugal pumps are of the back pull out design for rapid maintenance and replacement without the need to remove the volute from the pipework. The F series range of pumps can produce a maximum of 6000 litre per minute and a maximum head of 80 meters. Centrifugal Pump F sereis from Pedrollo
The 2 CP series of multistage centrifugal pumps by Pedrollo are specifically designed to produce far higher head pressures than the single stage Cp series. The Pedrollo 2 CP series centrifugal pumps are threaded port design. Maximum flow rates of 450 litre per minute and maximum heads of up to 110 meters.
These close coupled twin impeller pumps are extremely robust for higher flows and heads with highly efficient mechanical characteristics.

Submersible pumps manufactured by Pedrollo are also classified as centrifugal pumps due to the method of pumping. Pedrollo Submersible pumps consist of a large range of centrifugal pumps starting with the small TOP series (7 models) The MC series, the PVX series, the ZX series and the RX stainless steel dewatering submersible pumps. Borehole pumps, while often referred to as submersible pumps due to the submerged installation, are more accurately catagorised as deep well or borehole pumps. Pedrollo manufactures these borehole centrifugal pumps to exacting standards and specifically for efficient service. The high efficiency of these units makes them ideal for installation into boreholes where alternative energy is to be used. Solar energy is becoming a leading requirement for centrifugal pumps.
